WNC Health Communications / Campaigns

View From Here WNC was a region wide, community driven campaign built through a 19 county collaboration—spanning from Cherokee to McDowell County, and including the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and grassroots organizations like UNETE.

It focused on improving the health and well-being of Western North Carolina residents by addressing the region’s top three shared health priorities based on 2021 Community Health Assessments (CHAs), along with promoting COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.

This effort was possible through NC Region 1 and Region 2 local health department ARPA Workforce Development funds, Dogwood Health Trust, & the National Council on Aging.
