Mental Health Project Receives Funding

The Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust awarded $22,000 to WNC Health Network to support work on regional mental health system changes.  Issues that will be addressed include: developing a patient leveling tool for appropriate placement, a unified patient referral process, transportation between facilities and securing the best local services for patients after hospitalization.  Regional hospitals, outpatient providers and local managed entities (LMEs) are collaborating on these complete continuum projects.  For additional information contact Carolyn Dorner.
