Growth of WNC Healthy Kids Advisory Partners

WNC Healthy Kids Advisory Partners meetings have recently been changed from one location to three locations for easier access and greater participation.  As a result, attendance for the November Advisory Partners meetings more than doubled from the previous August meeting.  Feedback from the meetings was extremely positive; partners were appreciative for the opportunity to collaborate with diverse organizations working to promote healthy-weight, well-nourished, active children.  The schedule for the next WNC Healthy Kids Advisory Partners meetings is:

• Central: March 13, 10:00 AM  – Noon, Buncombe County Health Department
• Eastern: March 14, 10:00 AM – Noon, Corpening YMCA, McDowell County
• Western: March 15, 10:00 AM – Noon, Clay County Health Department
