Ambulatory Provider Fee Implementation for WNC Data Link

Similar to other Health Information Exchanges across the country, WNC Data Link's financial sustainability plan includes provider subscription fees for part of its funding.  Effective January 1st, 2012, WNC Data Link will have a monthly subscription fee of $20 per month per ambulatory based provider.  Previously, federal and private grant money funded a greater portion of WNC Data Link.  WNC Health Network will continue to identify and apply for additional grants for development activities and seek other revenue sources.  Collective support by all hospitals and physicians will ensure WNC Data Link continues to be available as a resource for our region.  It increases provider efficiency in retrieving clinical data for continuity of care for patients.  If you have any questions or need more information about WNC Data Link, email Jonathan Meadows.
