2011 Annual Forum a Success

WNC Health Network held its 4th Annual Forum October 26th and 27th at the Hawthorne Inn & Convention Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The event was attended by 65 Members from Materials Management, Pharmacy, and Laboratory departments. Al Walker gave the opening keynote discussing the 'Gateway to Excellence', and Dave Myers and Lisa McLeod gave the closing keynote focusing on 'Leading with Purpose to Gain Success'. Quarterly Materials Management, Pharmacy, and Laboratory workgroup meetings were held as well as several educational sessions. This year's Forum vendor show was the largest to date and included 76 Network partner companies and 176 participating vendor representatives. The evening event featured the 2nd consecutive year of Casino Night, and attendees enjoyed networking opportunities and over $2,000 dollars in prizes and giveaways. This year's grand prize winner of a Lenovo laptop was Betty Lou Watson, Materials Management Director from Granville Health System. The Network sends a huge thank you to all the attending members and vendors for a great turnout and excellent meetings.
