WNC Healthy Kids is beginning a social messaging campaign within western North Carolina called '5-2-1-Almost None!' The message is for kids to eat at least 5 servings of vegetables and fruits per day, spend no more than 2 hours per day in front of a screen (aside from schoolwork), get at least 1 hour of physical activity each day, and to drink almost no sugary drinks. This unified, easy and fun message is intended to promote children's health and help reduce childhood obesity rates.
